Make no mistake both sides are evil. I personally don't care if there's peace in the Middle East. I just don't want America involved in the fight. It already is at this point, which was stupid on our Governments part.

Iran treats some of it's own people badly, and Israel is terrible to it's indigenous Palestinian people and aggressive toward it's neighbors.

It would be for the best if the USA stayed out of the Middle East, it's been a huge cost to Americans, both with the billions the US has spent on the war, and the rising cost of fuel that has resulted from Trump's actions.

I believe the Iranian regime would kill almost everyone in Iran just to keep Iran an Islamic state. If that meant from a population of 93.4 million they had to kill 92.4 million so the population got down to only 1 million they would do so. (1 million being a hypothetical number representing the backers and sympathizers of the regime).

There are signs that Trump may be preparing to send ground troops to Iran:

According to Axios, the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group and the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit have left San Diego Naval Base to the Middle East.

The ARG consists of an amphibious assault ship, the USS Makin Island, and two amphibious transport docks, the USS Anchorage and USS John P. Murtha.

They will bring about a dozen F-35B Lightning II fighter jets and around 2200 U.S. Marines, as well as infantry fighting vehicles and armored personnel carriers. That’s a naval landing force. There’s enough marines, transport helicopters, and amphibious vehicles in there to make a beachhead.

Very troublesome sign, possibly pointing towards Trump wanting to initiate a naval landing in Iran.
