Updating my list from August:

#1 Oleksandr Usyk
#2 Daniel Dubois
#3 Agit Kabayel
#4 Filip Hrgovic
#5 Frank Sanchez
#6 Fabio Wardley
#7 Efe Ajagba
#8 Tyson Fury
#9 Jarrell Miller
#10 Artem Suslenkov
#11 Murat Gassiev
#12 Justis Huni
#13 Deontay Wilder
#14 Damian Knyba
#15 Anthony Joshua

Dubois stays at #2. I already had him above Kabayel, beating Wardley again doesn't put him above Usyk. Wardley drops below Hrgovic and Sanchez to #6.

Suslenkov moves from #13 to #10 after stopping Kuzmin. He has followed the Joyce win with another stoppage and deserves credit for staying active and winning. BoxRec doesn't recognize it due to politics but that doesn't change reality, the fight happened.

Knyba IN at #14, Chisora OUT. Chisora hasn't won since February 2025. I gave him credit for the Wallin win and the close loss to Wilder, but that only carries him so far. Knyba earns the spot by dominating Ruiz after getting stopped early in Germany. Joshua stays at #15.

Parker, Itauma and Rico remain out for the reasons I gave last time.

Jalolov stays outside for now. Beating Dacres is progress but it's not enough for a top 15 place. Knyba has the stronger claim to a new entry.

No punch resistance? Are you kidding? He copped a fullllll ddd shot to the chin and his knee touched for half a second… then he copped 20 more and didn’t go down. No punch resistance… 99.9% of the world would have been snoring after the first shot… 90% of top heavyweights would too.
The fight was over in the first round 'he was completely ineffective, and posing an almost zero threat to Daniel Dubois after the first knock down'.

Note: Compare this to Anthony Joshua vs. Daniel Dubois 'just like Wardley, Joshua was caught early in the first round with a knockout blow'.

5 rounds later, Anthony Joshua even while severely concussed was still in the fight 'and beginning to turn the fight around. Every time he was decked, he got up and was still dangerous'.

It was Anthony Joshua's worst night ever strategically and tactically 'but he did fight courageously, until he was eventually knocked out. Even after the final knock down, he was still scrambling to get to his feet just after the count of 10'.

Fabio Wardley's durability has been overrated 'he has had two fights at genuine world level, and has been stopped twice. And the rematch vs. Dubois? The first big punch, rendered him completely ineffective'.

Fabio Wardley is of course a tough and durable fighter 'but many people in the boxing community were putting him right up there it seems with George Foreman and Evander Holyfield. Before this rematch his durability was being overrated by miles'.

He was doing nothing after the first big punch 'Fury has been hurt and comes back, and even Anthony Joshua time and time again in his career when hurt? Has always came back fighting, until the fight is done' etc.
Parker wasn’t at world levle? I’d say huni is too, but I won’t try convince you of that… but Parker… not world levle?
Why would you rate Justis Huni as a world level fighter? He has beaten nobody at world level. And? Joseph Parker depending on how high you rate Deontay Wilder at the time of their fight. That win could possibly make Parker just about at world level.

Martin Bakole, was not in optimal condition 'so Parker's win against him, really should not get super overrated. Even still? Martin Bakole was another fighter in the past few years who has been getting overrated'.

Note: Facts are: Fabio Wardley has lost 95% of all the rounds he has fought above domestic level 'and he has just fought a genuine world level fighter in Daniel Dubois twice, and got stopped twice'.

Solid fighter Fabio Wardley but many people in the British boxing community were getting carried away with him 'both his power and durability'.

Apparently Anthony Joshua's durability is terrible 'last time I checked, he has never disappeared inside 2 rounds. And even against Daniel Dubois on his worst night, he was dangerous and still trying to win until the fight was over' etc.

If Parker being world levle hinges on wilder Does that mean fury being world levle depends on if wilder is good? Your standards for world levle are insane if parker (especialy at the time he fought wardly) isn’t a certainty.

As for huni, i think he is. The fact he hasn’t beat many top guys is why i just think it, but he was a respected prospect that has moved to more a contender role, got chinned, but plenty of good fighters have been chinned at some point in there career.

Parker has beat a much younger Takam, Andy Ruiz, Chisora X2, Wilder, Zhang and Bakole while he has shown no signs of significant decline. His losses prior to Wardley came to Joshua, Whyte and Joyce, who were at the time all world level. That's a better resume than anyone not named Usyk, Joshua, Fury and Whyte over than time. It puts him in a similar position to Joyce and Dubois, while you could also probably put Zhang and Kabayel around that position too despite not having the depth in their resumes. If he's not world level, I dread to think how few heavyweights that he counts as world level over the last 10 years.

I agree that Parker was a world level heavyweight for a while, but some of those wins look better on paper than they actually were.

The Ruiz decision was a gift in my opinion. Takam gave Parker a competitive fight and I wouldn't call that a great win. Bakole came in on virtually no notice, without proper preparation and short on sleep, so I wouldn't rate that as a particularly meaningful win.

I had Chisora winning their first fight. He looked completely shot in the rematch but somehow still managed to win a few rounds. Wilder and Zhang were good wins.

World level contender but never elite with some badly ageing losses on his record. And I don't think he beats guys like Jarrell Miller, Knyba or Gassiev after serving his ban.

That sounds delusional to me. Miller has never done anything worthwhile. Gassiev hasn't at heavyweight either. Knyba? Seriously? The problem is, Parker can be world level but not elite. He's definitely in the trailing pack behind the genuine top level guys (5 of them at max) though and that's undeniable. He has been for a long time. Nobody else has come along and beaten the level of contenders that he has.

What have the guys that you have mentioned done as heavyweights which makes you think they either have better wins than Parker or have the ability to beat Parker? You picked Parker's wins apart, those guys have no genuine wins to pick apart. Zhang would smash those guys at the point in which Parker fought him. Bakole would probably beat them all. As would Chisora.

You're right that Parker has accomplished much more at heavyweight than the three I mentioned. I should have been clearer: I wouldn't favour the version of Parker returning from his ban against any of them, even though I don't rate them particularly highly. That's a prediction, not a claim that they have better resumes.

Parker's last credible win was in March 2024. I also think he was very lucky that Dubois had to pull out and he got that version of Bakole instead.

Which of Miller, Knyba and Gassiev's performances make you think they'd beat him? They have no credible heavyweight wins since 2024 or anytime ever before that. Miller drew against an unmotivated and past it Ruiz and scraped past Ibeh, Knyba beat an unmotivated and past it Ruiz and got demolished in 3 by Kabayel, Gassiev beat an ancient Pulev, yet he lost to Wallin.

Bakole may have been out of shape but he's better than all of those opponents. Parker was crushing to a decision victory against Wardley before he got caught. Showed incredible recovery to beat Zhang on the cards despite being dropped twice.

6/10 rounds vs Wardley and being hurt multiple times doesn't crush anything. Was Bakole crushing to a decision victory vs Parker, then? He won the first round.

Let's hope Parker fights again and we'll find out. I think he's done at world level.

Still, you can't seriously think Parker was cruising to a points win after getting hurt bad in round 10 and it being 96-94 at the time. He was as not okay even in round 10.

Since Anthony Joshua beat Joseph Parker, he has achieved nothing at world level for pretty much half a decade 'in that time period of time his best performances win or lose were against Derek Chisora I & II and Dillian Whyte a fight which he lost'.

Note: Joseph Parker was last a bona fide world level fighter 'when he fought Joshua. And then Anthony Joshua removed him from World level, beat him rather easily without getting out of second gear'.

The main point I am making is? Fabio Wardley has lost 95% of all the rounds, he has fought above domestic level 'He was losing vs. Justis Huni and Joseph Parker his power turned those fights around. And he has been well beaten twice by Daniel Dubois'.

Solid fighter, Fabio Wardley 'but many people in the British boxing community were overrating him as a fighter. In particularly his power and durability'.

If he was to fight either Tyson Fury or Anthony Joshua 'in my opinion for as long as the fight lasts? He will be losing the rounds. And I would back both of them to beat him even at this stage of their careers' etc.

He has been ring top 10 for a decade. Bakole, Zhang, wilder, chisora twice… it’s crazy to think that’s not world levle stuff since those defeats, it’s one of the deepest resumes there is.

Parker has declined a bit. How old is he now? At his peak, I’d say he was around fourth in his tier. He’s a solid competitor, but that may say more about the weakness of the division than his own standing. I’d like to see him tested against some of the younger guys who are on the rise.

Parker has declined a bit. How old is he now? At his peak, I’d say he was around fourth in his tier. He’s a solid competitor, but that may say more about the weakness of the division than his own standing. I’d like to see him tested against some of the younger guys who are on the rise.
He's 34. I wouldn't necessarily say he's declined but he's definitely changed his style by adding more power (probably through PEDs).

I do agree that he should face some younger guys though. A fight Vs Huni makes promotional sense as I'm sure that would sell fairly well in AUS/NZ. Given that he has generally faced all comers in his career, I wouldn't be surprised if Frank uses him as a gatekeeper for Jalolov with the winner facing Dubois.

Joseph Parker beat Zhilei Zhang in December 2023 'so from 2018 to 2023, the facts are? He did nothing much at top level. For almost half a decade, he was not a major factor in the heavyweight divisions, during the peak years of Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder's heavyweight reigns. Those are the facts'.

Note: Derek Chisora has been outside of his peak for many years 'those two fights vs. Derek Chisora, were his best wins during that time period. Outside of those two fights he did nothing at top level'.

I know many British boxing fans like Derek Chisora 'but in my opinion he was removed from world level by David Haye. Since then he was just benefiting from being a British fighter, and being involved in action packed fights'.

Beating that version of Derek Chisora twice back to back 'does not make a fighter a bona fide World level fighter'.

But once again? The main point I was making is 'Fabio Wardley was being beaten by Parker, and the stoppage was controversial. Fabio Wardley has lost 95% of all the rounds he has fought above domestic level'.

He is a solid fighter and admirable champion, but people were getting carried away with him as a fighter etc.
