BoxRec.com offers researchers and the casual visitor a lot of information and tools these days. Here's a test, to see who "has the hang" of these tools. Tell me: What was the final fight held at Los Angeles's Olympic Auditorium?
And tell me how you found the answer. (If you happened to have known the answer off the top of your head, please do not answer. I want someone to use the BoxRec research tools to find the answer.)

There's a quicker way to find it. Should take only one or two minutes at the most to locate the answer.JCS83MD wrote:6/10/05
From the front page, select 'State', choose California as your state, then search backwards from '07.
Kind of a pain in the ass to use to find a particular venue but whatever.

Final boxing show was held June 10, 2005, with Vernie Torres winning an 8 round technical decision over Salvador Casillas.
I found it by
1. Going to Encyclopedia
2. once there I went to Categories A-Z
3. Found Los Angles Venues
4. Went to Olympic Stadium
5. Read this in the trivia at the bottom
Like you said I did it in about 2 minutes

It's a way to remind folks of the great research tool the Wiki is, particularly if you use the search feature. More and more is being added every day.JAHamilton77 wrote:Is this a round-a-bout way of promoting the Encyclopedia feature of BoxRec?
More on that search feature here:
