Aurino was a good step up and it was a shame it ended in that debacle but in his previous fight with game Frenchman Rachid El Hadak Huck showed consistent improvements. El Hadak to his credit came to fight and showed a reasonable defence and offered plenty of ambition but Huck impressed me the way he moved into range and gave a feint then when his man led off he stepped back and then countered with some vicious shots. Huck loves teeing off on a sitting target and every shot is thrown with KO intentions.
I was first alerted to his potential when he beat Rudiger May in a crossroads battle, May was experienced yet Huck paced himself well and won handily over 10 (i saw only highlights though) and then scored a good win over Michael Simms. Since then i have seen his bouts with Rasco, Lee Swaby, Nuri Seferi and then El Hadak and Aurino and he is maturing into a very good fighter.
Any thoughts on "Captain Huck"
