bugger me sideways i sell literally dozens of sets every day
i presume selling 10 sets is a massive undertaking in your eyes
jesus you small time ebay muppet. Give up son , go sell fake aftershave around the pubs you little prick
Dozens of sets a day? Your talking 24-48sets a day? Thats 720 a month or 8640 a year at £40 a pop £350k a year

Would be good if 24-48 sets wasn't. You wouldnt waste your time arguing with ebayers and been threatened by there prices if you were doing that well

To be honest 4playfights argumentative, know-all, frankly 5hitty attitude has put me off ever using his services.

I am sure he will crow that he is doing so well that he doesnt need me, or any other boxrec poster for that matter, but I couldn't care less.

A little humility goes along way..

"I RUN THIS SCENE END OF STORY" - who do you think you are? Tony Montana?!?...

At the end of the day its boxing dvds - get some perspective.

and terry come on............
you are much too tight and stupid to buy from anyone reputable
i pointed out that long ago when you were gloating over uying my james tony dvd set from an ebay gibbon
this is the thing steveo, the set I have of Toney ISNT yours - its is a larger set with more fights - it is authored by someone else (according to you that in itself gives the set copyright/legitimacy..(?)) and is excellent.

What you need to realise is that you arent the only person in the world who holds good quality copies of fights. You were just pi55ed off when I pointed out your sets were pricey compared to others (which they are.)

Out of interest how many of the Toney fights did you record yourself from TV broadcasts? Because the set I have are exclusively US material and unless you live in the states that just means you have bought them off someone in the US who did all the hard work for you.

I have no beef with any seller/trader nor do I have vested interets in this field - I am a fight fan who buys fight dvds - your ideal market to be fair - but your snotty and beligerent attitude tells me you are the kind of w@nker I wouldnt want to give a red cent to.

Happy trading Steveo! :TU:

the set you bought was actually recorded by my father who lives/lived in canada
you will note that they are all american fights
the extra fights were obtained from tc boxing website and yes the guy probably remenued them
I actually pointed out that although you paid 25 quid for this magnificent bargain i was selling the same set with better menus, more footage, more interviews glossy covers and premium quality dvd cases all rounded off with verbatim media and a buy one get one free offer and free postage
so fucktard that you are you would have paid a princely 5 quid more and gained a far superior product
Alas as youve pointed out you will never buy from me
I will live with my loss
Surely is should be your 'father' *cough bullshit cough* who should lay claim to RUN THIS WHOLE THING instead of his son who just takes his work and sticks em in a dvd case with a picture of Toney smokin a cigar on the front - well done Steveo - give yourself a round of applause for being as big a leech as you claim others to be.

And my excellent Toney set cost twenty quid - not the £60 odd you have the termerrity to demand get your facts right. (I hope your poor, long suffering old man is getting a cut SteveO??!)

As I say, I have no axe to gring, I just take umbridge at your holier-than-thou, arrogant attitude.

Your posts single you out as the kind of person I want not dealing with. I guess I will just have to soldier on through life, hoping one day to find a source for high quality, reasonably priced boxing dvds..

he now lives in southport (not that it matters)
im sure he doesnt mind me using his vhs tapes (he gave them to me afterall)
the set i was selling was 60 pounds (however i was doing and am in the months of jan and feb a half price buy one get one free offer so the set would effectively be half price making it 30 pounds if you think that is unreasonable taking into account free postage , deluxe media, superior content ie sparring , media interviews extensive press conferences etc, glossy covers and quality dvd cases..................
Mate I am sure you have a good product to sell and good luck to you. 30 quid for an extensive career set is far more realistic than 60. I wish you all the success in the world.

I have no beef regarding your product - I just think your attitude towards others could be more tolerant: you are not the only trader out there with good quality fights to offer.

Anyways..back to boxing and things that matter!! :TU:

that is the point

I AM THE ONLY GOOD SELLER OUT THERE

who else in the UK supplies dvd career sets with the following

CUSTOM GLOSSY COVERS
DELUXE DVD CASES
MUSICAL MOTION MENUS
PROFESSIONAL AUTHORING TO DVD STANDARD BITRATE
ACTUALLY CREATES HIS OWN SETS
INTERVIEWS, PRESS CONFERENCES

please correct me if im wrong as i dont know anyone else
Well I personally have used both Red Dragon and Collins2000 and found them both to be excellent. I cant speak about your sets because I dont have any.

Covers, cases etc are nice and all but for me its just about the fights: the picture quality and sound are what I am interested in, not the bumf.

You say the picture and sound are great on your copies - brilliant! As I say I have no axe to grind with anyone on this subject - I just like watching boxing.

4play.

Now, I don't know when's the last time you bought/traded with Collins - but I have recently and his picture quality is absolutely superb.

I use a HDD system on standard play for me more recent fights. No VHS involved its all digital. I then take the time to "author" them myself. Not sure what exactly you mean - but what I mean is edit adverts, put in chapter markers at suitable times (not just every 5 - 10 minutes).

Nobody has ever gone to me on my more recent trades and condemmed my picture quality. However, I have to say - I think Collins trade surpassed mine. It was so crisp.

I find it very hard to believe you are making a wage from it (illegal BTW). All the traders I deal with (and all I recommend) do it mearly for a hobby purpose and would never make anything from it.

I don't want to have a go, but before you have a go at me - saying try my discs, I did ask and you didn't have what I was looking for. Not interested in career sets - just full shows.

I'll back that, I've bought off Stu, and they have been very nicely put together DVD's.

I just want a Sonny Liston set with any footage available :TU:
I've got some good Liston stuff including the Wepner fight in full on camcorder, bw but decent picture... also the Martin and both Williams fights and various other fights and about two documentries... pm me if you're interested mate!... :TU:
Interesting what you said about sellers chipping in together as I've been thinking of doing a website and inviting other sellers onto it and selling various boxing stuff ie books, mags etc... if could be a sort of ebay just for boxing, ofcourse certain people wouldnt be invited to the party, its only an idea so far and would only work with people who can get along together... :box: :box: :box:

That's more like it, 4skin.

PS By the way, I'm glad you took me up on the offer of help via PM. Here it is, in your case. Invest in a book about selling. (Maybe daddy can buy it for you). It will show you how to present yourself to potential customers as at the moment you seem to have no idea at all.

its a shame that they stopped people selling DVDs, I got career sets (maybe 30 fights each) of Leonard, Ali, Holmes and Foreman for about 10 quid each. Brilliant, what R U moaning about?
