3. IMO No Chance
4. Cook, Matthews, Foster, Morris, Mitchell, Burns etc all great possibilities and all very interesting fights If I had to say who would come out on top? At the moment. Cook probably.

Do you like working at SN in the boxing promotions business and whats your job there? Or would that be giving away too much?

1. thought you said you were a West Ham fan?

2. RE: Thaxton vs Earl.... you say EARL told Hennesy he was not happy with the terms of the bid.... a) do you/FW know what these concerns were? b) can you reveal them to us? c) do you/FW consider them justified?
(And no, they were not in last weeks NOTW, but I did not see the story on the net till Tuesday/Wednesday I think (whenever I started the topic) so i didnt know if there would be any comment on that....)

oh and 3.... how would you compare Haye and his not fighting Enzo to Earl and his not fighting Thaxton?

Wasn't Earl quoted as turning down 40k to fight Khan? What would the improved offer (roughly) be to get him to change his mind? or wqould the prospect of C/Wealth belt be sufficient?

Once again fair play to you BC.... as much as you do get stick on here, it is nice to talk to insiders, especialy when they impart info and gossip..... possibly you dont realise that when we dont hear the background to things going wrong, we have to deduce it.... when that process goes awry, you come out with comments like 'thank god for all your insight' and that leaves me for one thinking it would be more neighbourly to maybe give your version of events....

Heres a deal, I give you advice on kitchen fitting, you let us know the inside track, lol

Good stuff, Boxing chat. For all I disagree with much of your opinions and think you sometimes come across as a paranoid sychophant, I think it's pretty ballsy of you to answer the thread. Cracking effort, and if, as it seems, you have a working relationship in SN, it's a good thing for the forum.

Anyway, I'd like to ask how Frank feels about Amir Khan's progress. I know we'll get something close to the party line, but I'm interested to know your opinion and, if you know, how Frank feels.

I'd also like to know what his plans for Amir are. I think Limond is a step in the right direction, and I have never been as critical as others about Amir's opponents, given his sometimes amateurish technique and young age. But while Limond is a step up in class, he's still a bit of matchmaking with it's roots firmly placed in expediency, as I think most erudite observers realise.

Are there any plans to test Khan with some tough, hardened, stronger journeymen to steel him for the big time?

Oooh, I suppose that's two questions.

He has only really answered a couple of Qs though and neither gave us any insight - Lets be honest the sack and possibly even a court case, FW v Boxingchat, is going to put him off being honest and quoting FWs opinion - I dont really read his postings to learn anything and given his position of chief gofer you cant expect worthwhile information from the man - The thread was a nice idear though with some good tea and biccy humour so on that basis I enjoyed it.

Agreed, the statement in seperate threads that he is a West Ham season ticket holder and a Brighton season ticket holder (granted, not impossible) also brings some of his credibility into question.

I don't work at SN. I'm in the Motor trade. I know people who do though.

As I said, don't worry and sleep well. Surely if Warren doesn't, as you state, get an exclusive deal the it's the others who need to worry.

MY SONS ARE SO I HAVE TO SUFFER WHEN I CAN'T GET OUT OF IT.

I THINK IT WAS AN EXCELLENT PURSE OFFER AND EARL IS MAD NOT TO TAKE IT. PERHAPS THERE'S MORE IN A KHAN FIGHT BUT SURELY IF HE'D HAVE BEATEN THAXTON HE WOULD GET MUCH MORE AGAIN. SAME, BOTH SHORT-SIGHTED AND DAFT. HAYE WON'T FIGHT MORMECK, IN FACT I DON'T THINK HE WILL SEE CRUISER AGAIN AND FEARS GETTING DE-RAILED IF HE DOES.

Oooh, I suppose that's two questions.

Khan's on the right track and is getting better. He's still a baby and will get there and deliver when the time is right.

Limond at lightweight will be a very real test.
