Ricky will be fighting M'Baye and Mosley in his next two fights and is in talks with GBP

Baffling because here Ray Hatton says they'll sign the Mayweather fight contract this week: http://news.bbc.co.uk/media/avdb/sport/ ... _au_bb.asx
M'Baye - a one off with Warren? Was convinced thought that Frank was keeping that title warm for Khan.
Then Mosley? Interesting, I'll give it that.
Well structured move, because i.e. take on 2ndary league title holder and then an A-lister.
Mosley could be tough for Hatton. Shane has class and power. But he lacks speed and zest now and IS an old guy...

Absolute and utter BS. M'Baye has to fight Kotelnik after Rees. Also, remember, Hatton is not a World Champion (IBO doesn't count) so the unification rule cannot apply.
You original source is wrong and therefore not reliable.

Whats the source? Our resident SN insider has called it BS and these fights make little sense financiallySTP wrote:Ricky will be fighting M'Baye and Mosley in his next two fights and is in talks with GBP

I don't think he was rejuvenated. Just a good ring general. He used movement against a man with no movement.Shirow wrote:Did you see Mosley's fight with Collazo? He looked rejuvenatedAutobarn wrote:Shane has class and power. But he lacks speed and zest now and IS an old guy...
If Hatton's not a world champion then no SN fighters are world champions. Because it's habitual to pick up a belt without even beating a world class opponent. Macca isn't a world champion. Arthur definitely won't be - whether he gets half of a WBO or full - because is he even going to go near Pac, Soto or Marquez? Hatton beat Tszyu, and so it doesn't matter which title he holds - he's still the champion.Absolute and utter BS. M'Baye has to fight Kotelnik after Rees. Also, remember, Hatton is not a World Champion (IBO doesn't count) so the unification rule cannot apply.

It sounds likely as Warren dropped his libel in a heartbeat as long as Ray links up with him for a fight or two.
Warren has always said keeping Hatton busy was a huge priority due to the weight issues etc... Im sure the NOTW column will be full of praise on Sunday.Greg Nicholas wrote:He surely wont fight M'Baye (Warren would want to stage a Hatton-PBF or Hatton-DLH at Wembley or some shit out of spite for Benn and Eubank), but i do know for a fact that Hatton wants to fight in Oct because they feel the long layoffs before the Collazo and Urango debacles did him no favours..
The thing is, is M'Baye any lesser than Malignaggi? I'd say they're about equal. Paulie brings trash talking and a New York following. M'Baye can be done at the MEN. Two big stages there.
As B/C says, Kotelnik is the obstacle. M'Baye never has it easy with this guy who won't go away. I won't moan about the decisions, but you can make a case for Kotelnik winning one of those fights, at least.

Hatton is the real champ at Light Welter, I don't think many people would argue with that, unless they had an agenda.boxingchat wrote:STP wrote:Ricky will be fighting M'Baye and Mosley in his next two fights and is in talks with GBP

I'm not arguing with you but the WBC, IBF, WBA and IBF only recognise each other and not the others. If this were not the case why did the WBCFlump wrote:Hatton is the real champ at Light Welter, I don't think many people would argue with that, unless they had an agenda.boxingchat wrote:STP wrote:Ricky will be fighting M'Baye and Mosley in his next two fights and is in talks with GBP

allow their International belt last Saturday. Fact is, Hatton MAY be the best 10 stoner in the world (Not even in the north of England in my eyes) but the facts are the facts, he is not a World Champion, belt wise at least.
Maccarinelli is the WBO Champion so is a World Champion "Recognised"
WBU and IBO are not in the same league and that tihnk is universally accepted. In fact, the IBO splinter from the WBU so why Hatton even has it, wants it or needs it is beyond me.

Do you know how and why? I thought the IBO were formed first, or at any rate were sanctioning fights before the WBU, although admittedly that's different from which was formed first.boxingchat wrote:I'm not arguing with you but the WBC, IBF, WBA and IBF only recognise each other and not the others.
