Sort of. I didn't really intend the comment to provoke any abuse or anger but I have travelled quite a bit of the world (admittedly not Africa), South America, Asia, Europe etc and a large part of the world drive like freaking lunatics, it's scary. I wouldn't imagine Africa is a great deal different.

No I understand what you're saying but 'Africa' is a big old place to make general statements about! But you're right, bad driving is in a hell of a lot of places (including the UK).

There is an article on some Namibian site about it and it looks like they conducted an investigation with experts, etc, that seemed equitable with what would happen over here leading me to think his actions weren't that usual there, at least.

I also heard of an African lad that Simon thought he was King of Namibia and could do what he wanted..anything bad and he would pay off the authorities....

Not speaking ill of the dead but this is the problem with Corrales driving like a madman...he could have killed someone else...
