Nelson vs DM?

Post by adamiw »

Johnny mentioned that DM said he wanted to fight him, at the end of the show last night. I personally think Johnny would win.

what about you guys?

At this stage in DM's career this fight would probably be quite competitive - but I just wish Dariusz would retire and spare himself more head trauma.

yeah on his recent performances that would make alot of sense, he may become a holyfield if he carries on much longer.

Seems like Fightnews thinks Jirov may be next for Nelson. He just won the NABO title, so it seems he may be targeting the WBO belt.

Jirov would be too much for Johnny I think.

DM vs Johnny would be a closer fight to call, but I'd go for Daruiz.

Would be pleased if either bout occured.

Most German fighters see sense and know when to quit before the rot sets in, i hope Dariusz is the same although wouldn't the psychological effects of losing his 49th bout be playing on his mind and maybe he is looking for some kind of redemption. I personally cannot believe Gonzalez was the choice of foe for his historic record equalling fight, no one would have thought any less of him surely had he picked a sitff to roll over and the result was in the bag. He must be commended for picking Gonzalez but it was a dangerous choice, i think Nelson on top form would be able to beat todays "remains" of DM but which Nelson will turn up? :o

If Nelson can get DM anywhere near a ring he should jump at this fight.
Masively winnable for a motivated Nelson and it would prove an excellent scalp/bargaining tool.

Styles make fights and Jonny would bust up and possibly stop (due to swelling/cuts) what remains of DM.
