He lost a fight in New Zealand. It now states there was controversy and it stands a no contest. No way, he was outboxed the judges were right. Is this official.

There's only one way to settle this. If you thought Chauncy lost to Sii Uta, call 0800 756 756. If you're An Australasian judge looking for a good time and the reinstatement of an NC call 0800 765 765 and press 2. If you're looking for Ike Ibeabuchi's nationality to be changed to Irish, please hold whilst we hang up on you halfway through Greensleeves.
*Is he bollocks Armernian. Swiss-Russian through and through is our John.

Fair enough. It's just the last time I remember seeing this thing being discussed, the NZ commission - guy by the name of Mc-something - can't remember exactly - gave official confirmation by way of paperwork that he was ruling it a NC, although his initial decision had been to give the decision to Sii Uta.
What a joke, Chauncy won this fight easily, and he now gets robbed of a win and given a loss!! It was ruled a NC which is bad enough quite clearly there was a balls up in the officiating of this bout in which case it needs to be ruled a NC for the result to be changed to a win for Sii Uta 3 years after the bout took place is laughable!
delisa i agree totally with you. Why was it even decided to start changing this result now after it had been dealt with and made a NC. It doesnt make any sense at all, anmd unfortunatley Chauncy is the one whos career takes a hit because of someone elses complete incompetence!
Itr should be changed back to a NC immediately!

Sorry to say paperwork was a forgery. Tel/Fax numbers & email address was not that of McCrystal. The document beared his signature & stamp, but if you enlarge the image you'll soon notice what I mean.
Sure NZNBF eventually changed the result to NC but only because it got tired of all the crap.
It wasn't exactly a career threatening result so I suggest you put it behind you & move on.
I would've changed it long ago, but didn't have locking ability. Now that I have it's history.
Cheers

Why not come out and say that straight away instead of piss assing around?
The result is still in question, a judge/or judges incompetence lead to this in the first place. who can say for sure which way the fight was scored after there stuff up, a judge told chauncy he scored it for him then tells someone else he scored it against him, quite clearly theres a issue here and the fight should and deserves to remain a NC!

BTW Craig
It would probably be best if you spent more time keeping tabs on NZ's so called regulating bodies - NZNBF, NZPBA, NZBC than boxers' records.
A boxer that fought in NZ last June, got the flick out of last Saturday's scheduled fight in Melbourne due to Hep B positive.
Is there such thing as compulsory 6 month serology test in NZ??
Hate to say; ALL of you need to pull your finger out :P

Anton was contacted by Gary McCrystal, the commissioner, by phone, and changed the result.
Now, Anton is changing his tune? Anton has some sort of beef with anybody thats not from Aussie, and he seems to try to take his aggression out on me.
This has been going on for some time, and Anton himself said he talked with McCrystal, the commissioner in his last report on this issue.
I spoke with Gary on my last trip to NZ and he appologized for the mistake and said he straightened it out with Anton.
Is Anton getting some sort of kick out of messing with my record? Seems to be.

Chauncy
Do me a favour & totally eliminate aggression & hate toward you & anyone else.
It simply doesn’t exist.
McCrystal did tell me (when I called him) NZNBF had decided to call it NC (without giving reason) after months of being adamant you lost.
On that basis and after discussing it with fellow editors in our region I changed it, locked it, and I’m not prepared to change it again.
FYI, Mike Attree, who is credited as NZ editor is now Brisbane, Queensland resident., and was the one that inserted the initial result & continued to change it to loss every time another editor (you know who) changed to win & eventually NC.
Cheers

SO even when the commissioner says it wasn't a loss, you make it one? I don't get it. So boxrec.com is trying to make there own sanctioning body? Don't quite get it!AntonS wrote:Chauncy

The thing is though, that one judge had it 58-56 him. 59-56 me. then the 3rd on that night 58-56 him, but due to an error in addition, I was really the winner, and the judge said I was the winner, and admitted his mistake.Klee Gluckman wrote:No Chauncy that not what he is saying. I think even you know you lost that fight. Its been changed because of political rubbish. The fight it self was even and I enjoyed but you lost. The score cards were 58-56 against you as I recall. Thats how it was on the night that is how it must stay.

While we're at it, lets change the results on Marco Antonio Barrera- Erik Morales 1, Bones Adams- Paulie Ayala 1? Maybe De La Hoya- Shane Mosley 2? I know the commission says that Morales, Ayala, and Mosley were the winners, but that's not what I think.
Actually, why not change the Holyfield- Ibragimov result? I didn't see it, but this one guy told me Holyfield he thought won!
Wait, this is exactly like Stevie Johnston- Jose Luis Castillo 2! After Johnston was announced the winner, they took a closer look at the cards, just like this, and seen there error, and changed it to a draw! WOW! The nerve! Don't they know, that Anton will just change it to a loss for Castillo? Who cares what the commission says? It's Antons World, and we're all just his little puppets, and he can ruin any fighters career if he don't like them!
