Absolute disgrace!!!!!!!!!

Although i can agree that FW is a business man, the quality of his product is appaling. Only in the world of boxing can someone get away with this, and should JC win people will go home happy & FW will once again look good. When you disect the actual bill, what other fight is actually worth watching????????

Compare FW with ODH as a promoter, Oscar delivers fights he wants to see as well as the public wanting to see! And he can do this whilst making money.

Compare the Cotto v Mosley bill to this one and it's an absolute joke, no wander the yanks laugh at us!!!!

FW is a greedy twat showing terrible bills, but he has a strangle hold on young British boxers cos they know if they want to get anywhere they HAVE to sign with him. They end up having 20+ fights against journey men before frank will even get them an 8 round fight.

I hope JC gets destroyed & FW loses his golden egg.........

.......... plus i personally think MK will do JC by KO in th 7th to 12th rounds!!!

HBO has signed up to show the main event only.

So that is the only thing FW has spent money on.

Its not an excuse for the appalling quality of the undercard but its probably an explanation.

Do we care about undercard quality? I certainly do, it adds to the excitment of the main event when an undercard is solid. Think Barrios-Guzman & Vazquez-Gonzalez on the Barrera-Juarez II show. Really got the juices flowing and was even better than the main event.

Or the recent Hopkins-Wright undercard with Andrade-Muller (okay a bit one sided), Katsidis-Amonsot & Linares-Larios. Good solid matchmaking get's you in the mood for the big one, not a string of one sided knockover jobs.

Was speculating on my experiance of putting on smaller but resonably sized events in the music industry which I admitted may be wrong mate, you seem quite upperty, if you have such "a f ucking" clue why not enlighten us as to how he can fund a better undercard in front of about 8 thousand people in the Nottingham arena but not for something in front of 60,000 people. Securaty per person is cheeper in these things than in the music industry and I know that for a fact because sporting events can have stewards and a lower %age of licensed securaty staff.

If he put Mac and Rees in good fights it would be good for business because he would have 60,000 fans about 40,000 of whom would be generic sports or Waels fans watching, as would many watching on Setanta (who also gave money) if they start supporting those two then Warren can make money off them in future. Thats fcuking business.

There was a thing in Boxing Monthly about the trouble of getting newspapers to cover boxers who aren't calzaghe, those papers have the space booked and jorno's there if there is a good undercard fight too its good for the sport.

So go on as someone who has a 'f ucking clue' tell us how much the stdium costs, and tell us what the ticket revenue is.

I used to not know alot of the results until the following Friday when i got my Boxing News, that was about 10 years ago, life without the internet!

Also used to have an impressive collection of Razzle about the same time

What a daft response. Ian I'm sure if you try again and ask to speak to someone sensible they could sort it for you. Some of the staff you speak to at sky and setanta are brain dead. Why is life never simple?

LOL I had to be a bit more specific than that. They had the road, town, even building number, but not my flat number. They said it wasn't "on the system". I said I'm living in the fornicator and the previous tenant had cable TV, so what's the problem? "It's not on our computer, so we can't send anybody". I said they've got the building number, if not the exact flat, so just send someone to the building and I'll let them in, but they still wouldn't do it because the computer needed a flat number. AARGH! In the end I got my landlord to phone them up and also insist that yes, the place did actually exist. But it was too late to see Williams-Gammer (although I found a pub showing it).
