Duddy one is live on RTE and BBC Northern Ireland so shaping up to be some night in front of the box.

Crazy trying to do a show like that anyway without tv money especially with the Duddy one on the following week. Any odds up on that yet, fancy a punt on Howard.

Tickets are selling like hot cakes (Mccullogh v Martinez). Havent heard about duddys fight tho.

Mccullough arrives in Belfast next friday.

Persoanlly, I would rather go to the mccullough fight cos the duddy fight is on RTE AND BBC northern Ireland!

I know a few people who have bought tickets for both, i am obviously hoping it goes ahead but it was just what i heard that it was looking unlikely.

Duddy-Eastman seems sound enough, Eastman was on the radio the other night talking about it and they have fight posters up in West Belfast.

Mate, trust me the theres more chance of Eastman pulling out of Duddys fight than there is of the mccullogh v martinez being cancelled.

Where you getting this from, can't remember Eastman pulling out of any other fights before and this is a big chance for him. A win over Duddy will probably get him a decent payday in the U.S. and possibly even another title shot.

Duddy's name and reputation stateside means an Eastman win would project him into another payday possibly in the US, i agree with you Fatton. He doesn't have a rep himself for pulling out of fightd but rather for not performing to his best when the heat is on.

He sounds up for it in the radio ad anyway :D

Bit tongue in cheek there I think billing it as the only show in town with the McCullough fight on the week before.

Duddy Camp Report - All is very well in New Bern, NC, USA. Condition is excellent, weight at 163, sparring is terrific and additude is superb. Don Turner says, "It's the best training camp I've ever had -- BAR NONE." (Apologies to Mssrs. Holyfield, Holmes, Pryor, etc., etc., etc.)

Tickets are going very well, considering the entire city of Derry is moving to the King's Hall on Dec. 8. The undercard alone could have generated an ample crowd of its own.

See you all there.

Good to hear that Jabby, sounds like it's going to be a night to remember! Keep up the good work and that means also getting more shows on in Belfast and getting it back on the Boxing map! :D :box: :TU:

Yes should be a good one, apparently Howard is well up for the Duddy fight and really fancies the job. Look out for some sparks at the weigh in :TU: :box:

Don't count on that. I've been with John for 21 of his 22 bouts and caught a large majority of the weigh-ins. Unless Duddy has had a major character transplant, he will be his usual charming and gentlemanly self. I have yet to meet an opponent that hasn't said complimentry things about his demeanor. John is a very smart, charismatic person who even has his opponents admiring him. I have NEVER heard him say a derogatory remark to his adversary.

Nope. You need 2 to make sparks fly. If Mr. Eastman wants to travel that path, he'll be doing it on his own.
