Yeah, I really doubt he understands the Saudi controversy, and it's not like Fastcar's gonna fill him in. But he knows about this because he lives with it. Same as Naz knew a bit about Yemen but nowt else political. It's a credit to boxing that it's given so many troubled young men better lives, but sport shouldn't be anyone's only good option.

Dunno, but they were happy to choke the guy for 9 minutes instead of cuffing him, standing him up, and having two officers hold onto him. They're not cops I'd want looking out for my community. As I said, all it takes is for good cops to do nothing and they're all rotten.
As for Corbyn and a united Ireland, I agree with that desire and who in their right mind wouldn't. Did he actually do much? I dunno, honestly, but that he wanted to help is enough for me. Palestine also, where the Israeli government bomb families and then point out the retaliations (who've way, way less firepower) as the bad guys in all of it. It's possible to condemn those terrorists at the same time as understanding and sympathising with what brought about their creation. Strong parallels with BLM.

Their numbers could easily be fudged, agreed. But let's take your argument and suppose China created this as a viral weapon, because then we can ask why the UK has (until recently) had a higher daily fatality rate than the rest of Europe? We can also ask why South Korea (I'm guessing they weren't involved in this weapon?) have had fewer deaths in total than we had most days last month? Especially when they were one of the first to be hit.
New Zealand have no cases right now, so it seems like a pretty crappy weapon if all it takes to defeat it is a half-decent government. Unless the Chinese dudes were so clever they knew Johnson'd be hopeless, or they were working together. You need evidence for this sort of chat, bro.

I wouldn't say most, but more than none, sure. The difference is that Cummings has never suffered because of his colour... he gained his wealth from family connections... he was supposed to be setting an example before any of this kicked off... and it's taken this pandemic for a lot of white people to pay attention to racism. In other words, this is the best opportunity for minority voices to be heard, and the worst time for a man in power (not officially, but he is) to be flouting lockdown when C19 was still in full force.
It's a double standard if you're having a pop at BLM protestors but didn't say anything about all those white beachgoers the other week. I've said myself that I wish protestors weren't going out putting us at risk right now, but like I say, I believe this is their best shot at being heard and bringing about change.

This is having a go at minorities for occasionally getting a bit more help to go one rung higher, and remember that only a tiny minority benefit from this tokenism, because tokenism itself is done to placate and create a false image of equality. So we're fighting over the first couple of rungs when the rich feckers are ten up!

Aye, let's agree that AJ's out of line on this. But we can also imagine living in a country with our roles reversed, where all the big corporations are owned by greedy, tax-dodging black men, our government's been majority (and entirely until recently) black for centuries, and our predominantly black police need to be filmed in case they abuse us. And even then they still might.
So us whites get together and campaign to have a statue of Idi Amin removed, but after decades of writing letters about it it's still there outside the Tesco. Finally we get together and protest, and a white man we wouldn't recognise if not through a sport (one of the hardest at that) stands up, and all he really says is “Yo, let's only buy from each other until we get fairer treatment”.
I don't agree with him either, but thinking about where he's coming from is vital to building bridges, and they're bridges that deserve building. Rich whites have been taking advantage of everyone else for hundreds of years, including plenty of other whites. So if all of us who've been shat on by authority at one time or another get together, we'll have the strongest voice we've ever had.
In 2016 the ONS calculated the top 10% of UK households had 44% of our wealth, while the bottom 50% had 9%. And then along comes old millionaire Johnson and people vote for him to make this better. I'd be voting for independence from this shower if I were Scottish.
