Exactly that that, DDD gassed and folded with a jab, cowardly, fat, useless Fury was competitive to the end, but a step behind UsykControversial wrote: ↑27 Dec 2024, 11:07The best nutritionist in the world isn't going to make any difference to Fury. He doesn't live the life so changing his diet for a few months isn't going to be a game changer or make him a better fighter. Age and injuries will be catching up with Fury so he just won't be able to train as hard as he used to anymore and genetically he just doesn't carry muscle like others. He wasn't huffing and puffing after a few rounds, you have to be fit to stay with Usyk for 24 rounds. Look at Dubois, 10 years younger, he tired as the fight went on and by the 9th gassed and he is the definition of someone who keeps in shapekeithmoonhangover wrote: ↑27 Dec 2024, 09:07I respect your opinion, but you're assuming a lot. You're assuming he wanted to be heavier as a strategy. My assumption is, he weighed in heavier and loaded fat because of poor preparation. He didn't have to go out getting mortal and falling over, he could have had laser focus right from the start, but made a choice not to do that.Controversial wrote: ↑27 Dec 2024, 08:42
He wanted to be heavier though, as he did in Wilder rematches, so he could bully and push Usyk around but was unable to. Fury has never looked in great shape, he doesn’t have that type of physique.
"He doesn't have that type of physique", I hear you, but he doesn't have to have that physique. If he had the best nutritionist in the world and did exactly what he asked of them, he'd be in great shape. He chooses not to do that.
