No he seems to juggle various things and said the podcast is quite time consuming as he does it all himself. A shame though, hardly seems worth signing up to and paying for Patreon if he is doing less of them

Tris is genuine isn't he, have you read his book about where he is travelling across America sparring - it's fantastic. I've got it if not, happy to post it (if you're in UK). That and Bunce's book on British boxing are must reads for me.

thanks for the offer mate, but have read it already. agree that and bunce's book are among the best out there. tris' book damage is decent too although obviously a difficult read.

From listening to him talk about it, it was a real labour of love and took a lot of his time up travelling, filming, editing etc. Not sure what sort of income it generated but can’t imagine it was a lot.

I've been a Patreon supporter of his for years now, even when not listening very often, I think his work is really important, gives a voice to so many unknown and underappreciated characters of the sport.
