Well he's got a fair bit to prove.

His two defeats showed that he is the complete opposite of a good thinker with high ring intelligence.

His first loss was a SD... He had a very limited amateur career and about 18 pro fights which were mainly quick KO's before he fought Billy Joe Saunders... He's much better now, but still a long way from where he needs to be...

Once the jab and straight right come in he'll be hard to beat... Groves has 2 losses, but really upped his skills since then.

No, we won't

On what evidence do you base this claim?

What evidence do we have of him being a thinker SO FAR?

You know, to justify calling him ONE OF THE SMARTEST FIGHTERS IN THE HISTORY OF THE SPORT?

How has he shown this in a fight?

Lol.

'Once the jab and straight right come in' he'll be good

One of the 'smartest fighters in the history of the sport'

And he hasn't even mastered the jab or the straight right hand yet

He hasn't even mastered the most basic punches in boxing

And THAT is one of the 'smartest fighters in the history of the sport'

He doesn't look that much better now than when he lost to Saunders.

It was the same lack of fundamentals that led to both of his defeats & both fights ended the same, with him desperately rallying at the end to try & pull out a stoppage, because he hadn't done enough previously.

Even if he had Bob Foster's jab & Thomas Hearns' Right hand, he still be nowhere near one of the most intelligent fighters ever, he's just not that good.

Haha, that reminds me of the story about the Beetles when a reporter asked John Lennon if Ringo Starr was the best drummer in the world, Lennon replied saying he wasn't even the best drummer in the band.

Senior says his son is better than he was and I think he would know better than you... Senior lost 5 and drew 2... He said his son has the speed of Calzaghe with more power... I know a lot of that is Senior's verbosity and hype, but he believes it.

What they're missing is a sense of distance, range, counter punching excellence, and more work on the jab and footwork. Eubank certainly has time enough to get those parts done... He's also smart enough... Wait for the finished product.

How long did it take Wladimir Klitschko to achieve All Time Greatness??? .... He was in his mid 30's; patience man.

Eubank Sr believes a lot of things. Most of which belong in the garbage can.

Yeah, but apart from that, what else did the Romans do for us?

In one sentence you point out 5 of Juniors faults, yet still claim he is one of the most intelligent fighters EVER.

So he one of the smartest boxers in history, but lacks pretty much all the fundemental skills and knowledge of a good boxer. He's crap all flash and no substance, gotten as far as he has on speed and cherrypicking.

You guys are a couple lying bastards... I put Eubank in with a large group other other intelligent fighters and never said he was the smartest.... Wladimir had many of the same flaws as Eubank -- and that's why he didn't reach his peak until his mid 30's... I expect Eubank to work on his skills and develop his game to a much higher degree in the next few years... I don't expect him to surpass Floyd Mayweather, but he will be one of the better guys out there... Wladimir had big problems when he was 28... By the time he was 33 he was riding high and kept that peak for 5 years.

I never said Joshua was "the fastest, most athletic, most powerful, and indeed intelligent Heavyweight who EVER lived"... He has the best combination of skills and power so far... He made a mistake coming in lighter than he has in 4 years... to satisfy some people who say he has stamina issues when he doesn't... He looked sharper, quicker, and stronger vs Takem and Wladimir.. I also thought the referee did a piss poor job and was too disruptive, so there was no real flow.

LMAO!!!!!! .... Read this idiot's posts before commenting -- because you try everything you can to pull my chain

Moldie calls me every name in the book for saying Eric Molina did a good job KOing 50-4, Two-Division World Champion Tomasz Adamek (Who beat Heavyweights who previously challenged Lennox Lewis and Vitali Klitschko for the Heavyweight Championship and who were 28-1 and 46-3 when they face Adamek, but it's outrageous I give Molina credit for beating such an "average" Heavyweight)

I guess Adamek should have been ranked 600th at the time??? Putting him above 50% in the Heavyweight Rankings?

But I'M out of control? :o :KO: :shame: :stop:
