Johnny 'the entertainer' Nelson  seems ironic as almost all of his career provided me with no entertainment at all.

One was called "Fancy Pants". Bit camp but not too bad. It got worse.

Another was called Pedro "The Pedro" and then his surname. He literally used his first name as his nickname. Unbelievable.

The best one though, which I think was #1 on the list, the guy called himself "Ho Bag"

I always had a soft spot for Juan Lazcano, aka the Hispanic Causing Panic.

Jess Harding had a bad one, 'the potters bar terminator'. I think it lasted for one fight, he was given it by Barry Hearn in the lead up to the fight with Gary mason. Mason destroyed him and although Jess fought on, he never used that moniker again.

Or how about the same but in reverse and using the surname as in "Hughie Lewis 'Fists of' Fury" ?

I actually quite like this one !

Very inappropriate alias there! While we're on the subject of boring fighters 'the hitter' Witter was also a weak effort!

Who was that American fighter nicknamed 'Sugar Poo'? He must have the shittest alias. At least from a literal standpoint.

I remember watching a tv interview and the interviewer asked Carl Thompson where he got his nickname CAT (probably expecting some reply about fast reflexes or something).

To which Tjompson replied, err my middle name is Adrian ......
