Crawford's purse split demands for the Spence Jr. fight don't reflect the numbers he generates via gate receipts, audience figures and PPV revenue.

Terence previously claimed he deserved the lion's share. This is a huge stumbling block.

There's no fight to promote. And Spence Jr. and Crawford would be asked questions neither man could honestly answer, since negotiations haven't taken place.

And we don't even know yet whether Crawford is willing to work with the PBC. I guess that needs to be negotiated too.

Crawford is currently in no man's land until he's negotiated a deal with a network and a promoter.

I hope they’re big, for Crawford’s sake, but ESPN PPV’s have historically done bad numbers.

Crawford only achieved 55K buys for the Postol bout and 150K buys for the Khan mismatch.

I think Spence-Porter might have been 350K, but that figure is based on my fuzzy recollection.

They should reinstate same day weigh-ins.

All of this rehydration is making a mockery of some of the weight divisions.

I think that it should go back to same day weighins too, although I don’t blame anyone for rehydrating according to the rules. There are calculated risks in the drain/rehydrate strategy.

But if I'm wrong then one does have to question what Spence is prizefighting for exactly. A loss by Crawford hits Spence’s future earnings considerably. It’s THE fight that will clearly be the most profitable of his career so if he was upset over the fact that Crawford won then I think that fans should not look forward to a Crawford/Spence fight in the future because it’s not going to be likely. Both guys need to want it.

He has Bud Crawford as a guest on it, but after Bud finished, Porter said to his friends that Errol never hurt him once and Bud's punches stung more and he felt them more.

Thats been the case for at least a couple of years allready, and after Canelo has the Cruiserweight bout, he likely won't be able to make 168 anymore. He will likely just, drop down to 175,and settle there,after the Makabu bout,win-lose or draw.
He'll just be in Canelo vs Kovalev size-mode for the remainder of his career, unless the money offer to fight a Heavyweight champ is too great to resist.
