Lets take a hypothetical situation - you are at a show and a boxer (s) comes over to you before his or her bout and asks politely not to film their bout - for whatever reason - what do you say?
I think you have issues with someone, dont take it out on me.
All you have to do when some 6 x 3s kid asks you for a film is give them a damn film! You are making money off the back of them and have been doing it for years - its the least you can do! :shame:

For what eric charges its peanuts his films have been great help over the years, who wants to hold a camera when your lads are boxing :TU:

Hello guys.. I'll first of all say McKenzie did great against Billy Boyle and did what he had to do, My throat slit gesture was aimed at Maloney to let him know I'll do his fighter no problem as he was having a go at my trainer!! I told the little dwarf it doesn't matter wether it's Ovil or not I'll get that title!! His reply was something like tell such and such to f off to which I said go and f**k yourself you garden knome!!

The fight with me and Ovil was all made, I had agreed and Ovil had agreed terms and all he had to do was beat Boyle and prove he can get close to the light heavy limit, He done this so the fight should have been done BUT now his promoter has put a stop to it!! Nothing to do with my side it's all to do with 1 man!! The garden knome!!

I respect Ovil he's a good fighter and was willing to get in a ring with me so for that alone I was giving him 100% respect... It's just a shame now that the fans and paying public won't get to see a good matchup of 2 exciting punchers coming head to head.. I feel it's also a shame that Ovil shouldn't be allowed to fight me for the Commenwealth title too!! It's a terrible shame..

I hope he makes a decision and tells the knome I want to progress my career and fight for a title.. Im hoping so anyway.I wish him all the best either way. :TU:

Good fight and kind of fight you'd expect to see Bellew be forced to show what he's made of. He certainly talks a good game.

You must have something wrong with your hearing all i said to your training was the fight is not happen and there was no swearing.Your throat geture was done while Ovil and myself were at ringside it was pointed out to me so were you,I then walk over to tell your trainer the fight was not happen the only swearing was from yourself when you stated jumping up and down and shouting not the way a guest should behave when at someone elses show.

Frank

Your reputation is really being dragged through the hedges. Let you fighters fight FFS

You are well known for putting easy fighters in front of yours, look at Newport

Let your boy fight Tony and stop being an arrogant Shite. :shame:

You will loose a lot of fighters at this rate.

imo It would still be the Commonwealth but maybe against some unknown Afican, dont matter about there Record, when Tony beats them people will say, although he had a good Record he could'nt of fought No one... Where as McKenzie people already know how good he is so they'l know Bellew is the Real Deal..

Would just be a shame if a poor opponent got drafted in for the Echo Arena card when we were expecting to see you shine in the limelight against a good fighter.

What can you do though hey if people are running scared, be it fighters or promoters.

I am going to put my tin hat on now and be the voice of dissent.

I have been a big fan of Tony Bellew since he was an amateur - saw his fights when he was fighting at heavyweight and he is the one amateur I thought (and still think) who will develop into a really good fighter (without making any daft predictions because as we have seen with Errol Christie, Audley Harrison, George Collins etc the best amateurs in this country don't always become the best pro's, shit happens) it has been a suprise to see him fight at light heavyweight as a pro but he has done all thats asked of him up till now.

But the thing is Tony, you haven't beaten any of your domestic competitors to have the right to fight for that title. It is OK shouting for a chance at the British and Commonwealth titles but you know - what have you done to deserve it? If you had at least beat Danny McIntosh, Courtney Fry, Spartacus, Matthew Barney or Oakey then fair enough - but at this moment in time you haven't fought any of your domestic rivals which would count as an eliminator and then you can go 'well, here I am - its my turn'

Ovil McKenzie is a tough guy who has paid his dues and is deserving of a break and he certainly deserves his shot at the titles - I also think Tony Oakey deserves his shot as well - The titles aren't going anywhere - all I am saying personally - before you call out Cleverly and McKenzie - fight at least one of your domestic rivals and become the no1 domestic challenger by earning it.

And remember people - its a point of view thats been made in a respectful manner - lets keep the debate that way eh? :TU:

I don't personally know what the reason or why the above mentioned have knocked back a date with Tony Bellew - it could be a plethora or reasons - venues, dates, purse money - Tony is at the stage though of getting in on in a British title eliminator and I am certainly not saying he would lose to any of these fighters - he is a very talented fighter - however, I can certainly see why Frank Maloney doesn't think Bellew figures in Ovil McKenzies immediate future - Ovil is basically the next in line for any vacant domestic title as is Oakey - its all set more or less so why fight Tony which is a step back for Ovil at this moment in time. It just doesn't make any sense.

Make Bellew vs Fry/McIntosh/Spartacus/Barney as an eliminator for the titles - Tony has allegedly as his manager - it could be easily made even if it means digging into his pockets a bit more - and then - if and when he beats these fighters - its game on!
