His underperformance to his natural abilities...his only recent agreement to engage in a proper training camp with a proper trainer. Thought when he joined Adam Booth he’d really help Eubank then he walked away as well - nobody wants the hassle with the Dad in tow.

I get that, in fact I think he’ll likely win a version of the world title before he retires (one of the so called top four, not his IBO bauble). The depth at Super Middle is absolutely dire though.

I don’t think he’s hopeless, but he is very limited at top level. His feet are terrible and he doesn’t have the tong intelligence to change up or down mid fight. I don’t rate his ability to judge distance affectively and he’s no where near as good at ducking and rolling as he thinks he is.

He seems to have a decent chin and a good engine, and when he’s composed his shots are generally delivered well (esp his uppercut) but it’s all a bit mechanical.

His legacy is also built on sand. The lads 30 and his best wins are over an ancient Abraham, a DeGale who’d slidden far enough to be taken life and death with Caleb Truax

I don’t think he’s terrible but I’m also shocked when people (not necessarily you mate) talk him up like he’s anything special

I'd be shocked if he got half that amount. So your saying he £7 million for those fights? Cut that in half and take off the exes and tax and I'd say more like £2 million net,which is still very good money.
