I was at that fight. Just shy of 7 years ago and he was past his peak then. Real warrior.
do you reckon mags , morice hooker , dont get me wrong benn has i feel improved loads really impressed by him to be fair would i fancy benn against flanagan yea problay would Saucedo no i would still liked to have seen benn kelly tho i feel benn has passed him now , not saying he cant but underdog for me as i knew algri was lamb to the slaughter hooker aint
true but he is a natural scrapper mo long arms he fires bangers when in trouble and they very good that beat him , benn aint there yet for me, but he could as he has stepped up every fight the level benn is now is better than flannagan i think much rather see him fight mo deffo can win dont think he would batter him , i reckon benn would start well hurt mo, then mo just starts throwing on instinct and kos himmargaret thatcher wrote: ↑28 Jan 2022, 18:17 hooker aint won since 2019, wont have fought in over a year and was butchered in that fight, and is a career 140 pounder who accomplished nothing at 147. he wasnt all that good at 140 anyway, had 3 draws before upsetting flan on close decision, then life and death in his other notable win over saucedo. all the usual signs are there
Gosh!
They moved very quick to about that, opened, realised they fucked it, and shifted fast (most bookies probably started taking bets a bit later and so never had a period of even because hey learned from others mistakes).

but you have to remember befor that fight connor had beat noone and was going to points with some bad boxers, formela had beat significantly better guys than connor had, and he had just gone 12 with porter. That was really the springboard fight for connor to be considered legit, before then he was just Nigel son.

Exactly that, wont fight the top boys at the time he feels 'ready' but they bring over the ones at the top now once theyre past itShadrachSimmo wrote: ↑08 Feb 2022, 13:31 There’s logic in what he says I suppose. He isn’t ready for the top fighters yet. So wait til they’re on the slide then fight them….![]()

He started at 19 years old in 2016 I think it was.. Fair enough, he hasn't had any amateur career, but he's been in the pro game long enough now..
Ricky Hatton was a top amateur and it took him 8 years to fight Tszyu for the world title.Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑08 Feb 2022, 13:55He started at 19 years old in 2016 I think it was.. Fair enough, he hasn't had any amateur career, but he's been in the pro game long enough now..
Connor was shit 3 years ago. If your shit at 22, then 26 (he is 25 by the way) is not your prime.
Prime isn’t a singular specific year. If he had been beat against Peraud and progressed thereafter he’d be pushed along at a more normal pace.gregregegg wrote: ↑08 Feb 2022, 19:30Connor was shit 3 years ago. If your shit at 22, then 26 (he is 25 by the way) is not your prime.
id say for a welter absolute prime is generally 30, but thats not even taking into acount that connor was shit at 22. he is in no rush, just needs to stay active.
