What exactly are the rules of the BRS?

Post by Crease »

I am making this inquiry due to two results which, incidentally, took place in the same week (week 24).

On both times, my boxers got a raw deal... On both occasions they have more than a valid claim to victory.

On week 24, Carl Froch lost by TUD to Billy Conn.
After 8 rounds of boxing, Billy Conn was unable to continue fighting due to cuts...
On the scorecards Conn was ahead, but he could not fight any longer, Froch should have been awarded the fight, he was willing and able to keep the fight going, Conn wasn't.
How was Conn awarded the victory if he couldn't continue?

Also on week 24, Jose Torres draw with John Conteh.

The fight only lasted 2 rounds... Torres convincingly won the 1st round...By a big margin I might add.
In the second round, Conteh was unable to continue the fight...
And Torres was ahead on the judges scorecards...
Everything points to a Torres victory, yet the referree awarded the fight as a stalemate.
:witzend:

I really do not get the rules... It seems that rules are being modified to rob my boxers of warranted victories. :TU:

stfu noob, it's a Sim.

Oh and you'll also see the below on the top of the fight reports
Unified-rules are in effect, three KD rule is not in effect, save by the bell is not in effect, only the referee can stop the fight, mandatory 8 count is not in effect, fight stopped due to an accidental head butt: Tech. Draw through 4/Scorecard after 4, game will check for injuries,

Crease, (May I call you "Skippy"? By jove I think you've gotten to core of the problem! This is the exact reason why it's taken our well trained, state of the art fighter SO LONG to attain the Undisputed championship this year!

The very same flaw that you recognized (fighters LOSING when they should be WINNING) has been Billly Conn' problem as well.

It's obviously the acceptance of payola by the commish that has created these very scandalous dynamics!!!
