[bTHE WALL OF FAME[/b]

Steps are now being taken to have 100 names of folks
that have been involved in Canadian boxing.

Todate 58 of the names have been decided which
includes many obvious ones like Jimmy McLarnin,
Lou Broughton, Tommy Burns. But others include
Billy Townsend, Nicky Furlano, Al Sparks and many more.

Who determines who gets in? Missing names, IMO, include Canadian Champions Art Giroux & Bobby Leitham, Leo (Kid) Roy, Percy Cove (who was also a Canadian war hero), Mickey Gill (another Canadian war hero), and long-time Montreal sports editor Elmer Ferguson.

The process is still in progress, so the 100 that will be picked have not all been decided,
of the names you have mentioned LEO "Kid" ROY should be considered.
