This for me.

I can't call the Thurman vs Brook fight but this has to be the order.

Brook beat Porter and Porter beat Broner so that sorts out half the pile.
Garcia is a funny one, we'll have to wait till he fights one of those names until we really rank him in WW

For now

1. Kell Brook
2. Keith Thurman
3. Danny Garcia
4. Shawn Porter

5. Adrien Broner

Though I'd say if Thurman beats Porter he can possibly become #1.

If you go by whats happened.

Brook or Garcia are the 1 and 2, probably Brook 1.

Porter and Thurman are close 3 and 4s.

Big gap to Broner.

What resume he's only had 2 fights at WW and it took him 9 rounds to be a shot to fcuk Paulie who hadn't fought for over a year when he got destroyed in 4 by Porter.

Forgive me, I do not have your infrared goggles that came up with strictly Welterweight fights in the question.

Haha yeh my bad, wouldn't have Danny as clear #1 I think they're fairly close except Broner being clearly bottom of the pack.

Really? Matthysse, Peterson, Khan, Paulie, Guerrero, Morales, Judah...

I don't think any of the rest of these come close to that.

I wasn't impressed with the performance in most of those fights. If he was elite he would of walked through Paulie, wouldn't have got out boxed by Peterson in the last 5 rounds and wouldn't have struggled against Herrera.

He's just faced higher caliber. I thought Brook/porter was unimpressive on both sides. Thurman probably has the eye test imo, resume wise, impressed or not, Garcia has this in a landslide.

Resume:
Garcia
Brook
Porter
Thurman
Broner

Current welterweight rank:
Brook
Thurman
Porter
Garcia
Broner

Trying to rate them pound-for-pound is trickier, because Garcia and Broner have come up divisions, which is something I like to give fighters credit for when doing these sort of rankings.

Thurman, Brook, Porter in same make-up. Broner already lost to one of them, didn't he? Garcia...yeah. Idk. I didn't personally like him what-ever [he never done nothing to ME, though..his "team" pretty (vulgar talking, noticed!)]
How CAN you rate these guys. It's like picking straws isn't it??
I like a "sure bet"..pick 1-2-3: RON LYLE, KEN NORTON, ERNIE SHAVERS.
I'll tell YOU if you are a knowledgeable boxing fan for that era.
