What's the WORST decision you've seen...

- Abraham Chavarria scoring the first Chavez-Randall fight 114-113 for Chavez (Chavez was floored in the 11th rd and had two points deducted because of low blows)
- Chuck Giampa having Chavez 1 point ahead against Taylor after the 11th rd.
P.S: For the record, I was a huge Chavez fan. Simply, I think that some decisions are outrageous.

Whitaker was robbed a few times, but this was one of the most notorious rip offs in recent times.
Johnny Saxton's points win over Kid Gavilan is the most famous one. Saxton was managed by Blinky Palermo.
I could not agree more. (Whitaker-Ramirez I) was one of the biggest robberies that I have ever seen!!!
Both Whitaker and Gavilan were victims of bad decisions. I also saw the complete mastery of Pernell Whitaker vs Julio Cesar Chavez. Never seen Chavez IN HIS PRIME looked so bad---NEVER!!! :x :x :x :x :x

In fact, I think that one can't say that fight was a blatant robbery. It is true that Hearns floored Leonard twice (10-8 x 2), but an argument can be made for giving Leonard a 10-8 scorecard in two lopsided rounds (the final and another one I can't remember now). The Whitaker - Chavez decision, for instance, was quite worst.elmersalsa wrote:Oh, I also forgot Leonard-Hearns II. What a robbery!!! Hearns put Leonard to eat dust twice in the canvas, and the judges called it a Draw??? NO WAY!!! :x :x :x :x

Pintor-Zarate wasn't a bad decision. I had Lupe by a point. I watched it again recently and still see Pintor scoring the upset. Zarate never landed the big right hand. I'm glad the judges got one right. It would have been easy to give the reigning champ the nod and let people howl.
As for really sick decisions: the two Whitaker bouts (v. Ramirez and Chavez) both stunk. I admire Sweet Pea for not getting discouraged.
Also, the draw in Hagler-Antuofermo I was a crime. In a close fight, Hagler clearly won the last two rounds. That means two judges had MMH behind in the late rounds. Ridiculous. Well, at least Hagler got his make-good and we all got to enjoy his title reign.

Botha may have used some roids but Schultz clearly lost the fight.DH-A wrote:Hi Sweet Scientist,
in my view there are a lot of:
Felix Sturm vs. Oscar De La Hoya (Sturm definitely was dominant and should have been declared the winner)
Dariusz Michalczewski vs. Gracciano Rochigiani I (G. R. hit after a break commando, but he could not hear it; D. M. pretended that he was hurt hard, stayed down - he should do a theatre play - and G. R. was disqualified.
G. R. vs. Henry Maske (Maske was declared the winner but lost the fight clearly)
Axel Schulz vs. George Foreman (Foreman won, got the title, the IBF forced him to fight Schulz again, but did not do it; then there was a fight Schulz vs. Michael Moorer for this title that Morrer won by SD)
Axel Schulz vs. Francois Botha (Schulz lost, but Botha used Steroids. Schulz was not declared the winner and did not get the title)
Many Klitschko fights:
sometimes they are fighting in a very unfair way and do many illegal things - like pushing opponents down, throwing punches to the back of the head, to the neck and so on and so forth. They should have been disqualified (or warned at least) often (as it happened with Robert Byrd).
What do you think??
I'd add Briggs-Foreman.
oscar - sturn -sturn robbed

steve forbes - cobrita gonzales was bad decision
ray leanard- haggler- haggler should have won
