I think one of the main reasons Golovkin is mad at Clenbnelo is that the cheater put him into this situation with mandatories. Unifying was and probably still is very important for him. I think he will fight Derevo next.

refusing to acknowledge how things have changed since the first fight or how much he needs the rematch. I doubt he will ever face GGG now that he's off the juice. Back to ducking again.

Saunders behaviour in leaving Murray jilted at the altar a second time is totally disrespectful to his opponent. And probably stupid too. Canelo won't fight Saunders (or anyone dangerous) and GGG is better off fightng Murata. Let's hope Murray gets compensated properly. Not much worse than 2 late cancellations back to back by the same opponent.

Sadly though, Tom Loeffler has already strongly suggested that GGG may indeed end up facing Ryota Murata next, if the Canelo bout cannot be made.

It’s highly unlikely that we’ll see a bout between Jermall Charlo and Daniel Jacobs anytime soon – certainly not before the end of the current calendar year, though I’d ultimately love to be proven wrong about this, because it’ll be a great bout.

Also I could see GGG trying to unify with BJS in September 2018 then rematch Canelo on Cinco de May 2019. Canelo and his team would have to agree to a 50-50 split.
