Another example tv companies half comittment to the sport, we have hours of incessant wind surfing, motocross etc etc and now yourcoverage is reduced to 2 hours a week, maybe four if we are lucky and privilige to get a big US fight such as this weekend. (note the sarcasm)
theres a battle of the heavyweights next weekend it would do a lot to restore faith in boxing fans if this were to be shown in some capacity but I doubt it will be.
By the way,whose idea was it not to screen Tito vs Mayorga and Chico corrales vs Pop Freitas, these fights had "slugfest" and entertainment written all over them and we didnt even get a highlights?
In the meantime the homegrown talent still avoids one another in may cases and we get facile main events such as last weekend.
