Was Khan's commonwealth title on the line against Prescott? And if not has he dropped the belt? Thanks.

Frankly speaking - who gives a toss.

Prescott is from Columbia, which last time I checked wasn't from the Commonwealth, and therefore the belt shouldn't have been on the line.

Yes, it would have to be against someone from the Commonwealth.

Someone, not me, once said its funny how he holds the belt that says 'best in the Commonwealth', when he hasnt proven hes the best in Northern England!

I always remember when Graham Earl kept his British title despite losing to a novice Super-Featherweight from Scotland over 8 rounds.

Could never understand how that could be right?

Because it was over 8 rounds and wasn't a championship fight. Look back through history and you'll find fighters who lost non-championship fights yet still kept their titles, Lamotta and Duran spring to mind.

Thaxton didn't lose his British for losing to Romanov so I don't see why Khan should lose his commonwelth for losing to Prescott

He will get a World title shot at some point.

As far as championship fights go, he is still the commonwealth champion so I don't see how he has had it as far as championship bouts go.
