Abe Elkin was a "well-known fight manager," per the Ring Magazine: August 1942, p. 50. His stable in 1942 included a young Johnny Greco, and Ruby Garcia.
Elkin was the brother of boxer Eddie Elkins, and publicist Ruby Elkin.
