Anthony (Tony) Martinez
Martinez was a three time Open divison Middleweight finalist in the Chicago Golden Gloves tournments 1970, 1971 & 1972.
Tony became the 160 lb. Open division Champion from Chicago Illinois when he won the City title in 1971 defeating long time rival Martin McGarry.
Other amateur accomplishments include winning the Chicago Park District City middlewight title and a 1971 victory at Glenview Naval Airbase over the Navy's middleweight champion.
