Bill Gallo (December 28, 1922 - May 10, 2011) was a columnist and cartoonist for the New York Daily News for over 50 years, with a life-long fondness for boxing. He was awarded the prestigious James J. Walker Memorial Award and was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame as a non-participant. Gallo died of complications from pneumonia.
