Coach Bill Heglin
Bill has been the coach at Hamlin Park in Chicago since the 1970's
Bill was the head coach along with Frankie Smith & Pat Mulkerin for the Chicago USA amateur boxing team that competed in a series of bouts vs. Ireland in 1997 and swept all three team matches!
Heglin also worked with some professional boxers such as heavyweight Dan Nieves. After his boxing career was over, Nieves also remained involved in the sport, as a trainer.
