Bout Summary
Framptom moved around the ring for much of the fight, evaded the majority of Hirales's shots, and looked for countering opportunities and openings to land mostly single shots. He landed the cleaner punches and, despite neither man being hurt in the fight, controlled the action throughout. Hirales pursued Frampton looking for more of a physical fight and struggled to land against his slicker opponent. A cut opened outside Frampton's right eye in Round 9. Hirales was warned in Round 10 for punching on the break. Both men were advised prior to the start of Round 11 to clean up the action in clinches.
