  • Location: Auditorium, Norristown, Pennsylvania, USA
  • Notes

CHESTER TIMES: Cuban Bobby Brown, of Chester, won a technical knockout over Jeff Smith, Mount Holly, in the second round of the wind-up at the Norristown Auditorium here last night. Brown had Smith completely outfought in the first round and soon after the second round opened, Brown caught him with a terrific right-hand smash to the button. Smith got to his feet without a count but Jack Brady, who was handling him threw in the towel. Brown was listed from Chester for this bout as he was then under the direction of Baron (James) Dougherty at this time. Courtesy Chuck Hasson (IBRO and Philadelphia Boxing Historian).
