Eddie Quinn sometimes fought as "Art Benny."
He had moved from Spokane, WA, to Tacoma early in 1910 to become the new owner of the local baseball team, per the Feb. 18, 1910 Tacoma Daily News. He had managed the Spokane Indians baseball team 1907-08. Spokane Press.  (The March 13, 1943 Tacoma News Tribune reported that he had managed the Tacoma Tigers baseball team 30 years earlier.) By 1915 he was back in Spokane, per newspaper reports.
Quinn was also a part-time boxing referee and promoter. He also managed boxers, Frankie Grandetta being one of his better-known clients.
