Notes

  • Wardley started boxing when he was 21.
  • Wardley has never had a licensed amateur bout. He had four white-collar fights (white-collar boxing is unlicensed boxing for complete beginners with other careers who want to get trained and box at a special event or raise money for charity), winning them all before he decided to take the leap and become a professional boxer.
  • Wardley's fight against David Adeleye in Saudi Arabia on November 25, 2024, was historic as it marked the first time the British heavyweight title was contested outside the UK.
  • Wardley first won the interim WBO heavyweight title by defeating Joseph Parker on October 25, 2025. On November 17, the WBO officially promoted him to full champion after Oleksandr Usyk vacated the title.
