Farah Ennis 169 lbs beat Anthony Hanshaw 170 lbs by UD in round 10 of 10

Farah Ennis staged a late rally and floored Anthony Hanshaw in the tenth round to claim a narrow unanimous decision win against arguably his toughest opponent to date.

Hanshaw, who outworked Ennis early and had his opponent against the ropes in the fifth, was caught on wobbly legs with a straight right hand that sent him stumbling backward and down on his backside midway through the tenth.

With the win, Ennis improved to 21-1 (12 KOs) and scored his fourth consecutive victory since dropping a majority decision to Alexander Johnson (10-0) in April of 2011. Hanshaw fell to 23-3-2 (14 KOs) with just two wins in his last seven bouts.
