Malignaggi defended his 'King of Brooklyn' belt and local bragging rights, a 'title' he won over Zab Judah in 2013. Using rapid footwork and moving in and out, Malignaggi, 'The Magic Man', won the first eight rounds as Gabriel Bracero stood in front of him not moving or chasing or changing strategy. Malignaggi continued to fire his jab unchallenging, winning the rounds. In a mild late comeback, Tito Bracero won rounds nine and ten as Malignaggi tired a bit. After the bout, Malignaggi, doing 'double duty', got dressed and returned to commentating at ringside. Not a close bout.
