Fred Pearl was an American boxing promoter and matchmaker based in Sacramento, California. He also managed Babe Herman.

He was the primary matchmaker for the L-st Arena in Sacramento, beginning around 1917. He was a co-owner of that venue, along with Fred Bottaro and Ancil Hoffman. They sold this venue on October 31, 1945, to Claude Beagle. (The venue put on its last boxing show November 15, 1945. Beagle planned to convert the old arena into a storage plant for rice hull ash.)

His daughter, Ralpha, was married to heavyweight contender Buddy Baer from 1939 to 1943.

Pearl's promotional company was known as the Victory Athletic Club as early as 1940. In 1952, Pearl joined into a promotional partnership with then Sacramento rival Jackie King under the banner of King's company--the Auditorium Boxing Club. This partnership continued throughout the 1950s.

Pearl remained active in boxing promotion and matchmaking Sacramento until 1960, at 81 years old.
