Jackie King (promoter)

Jackie King was an American boxing promoter based out of Sacramento, California. King's promotional company was the Auditorium Boxing Club, and was one of the top promotional companies in Sacramento from his beginnings in 1945, on through the whole of the 1950s. King's rival in his early days was longtime Sacramento promoter Fred Pearl. In late 1951, the two joined into partnership under the banner of King's Auditorium Boxing Club, and promoted in tandem for the remainder of the 1950s.
