Joe Kennedy was an American boxing promoter in Pennsylvania, who promoted shows in West Manayunk, Reading, and in Allentown for a brief spell in 1926. Kennedy also managed boxers, including Tim Droney, Joey Hatfield, and Peck Miller. Kennedy was employed at the Sheriff's office in Philadelphia at the time of his death, at age 54.
