Amateur Career

  • As an amateur Jordan was both successful and distinguished other fighters were fearful of facing him locally this often made it difficult to get bouts. Not to be deterred Jordan would travel anywhere to fight. By the end of his amateur career he had competed in 7 National finals and became NACYP British Lightweight Champion in 2010, and Junior ABA National Champion in his last amateur contest on the 12th May 2012. [1] Gill also reached the final of the English National Juniors in 2011 at 60kg, losing to Jake Slater (9:5).
