- Also known as Junior Bantamweight (IBF/WBO) and Light Bantamweight.
- The maximum weight for this division is 115 pounds (52.2 kg or 8 stone 3 lbs).
The super flyweight division was first established by the New York Walker Law in 1920 regulating standardized weight divisions, but the division never went anywhere. Re-introduced by the World Boxing Council (WBC) in 1979 covering weights between 112 and 115 pounds.
