- Byarm lost a six round decision to Evander Holyfield in the future world cruiserweight and heavyweight champion's pro debut in November 1984. Byarm fought four 10 rounders after that, winning three. He then lost four bouts, including a 12 rounder to Kelvin Kelly, and retired.
