"Lloyd Marshall ended the sensational winning streak of Hilton (Fitzy) Fitzpatrick, when he knocked out the Oak Hill, W. Virginia puncher in the 5th round of their scheduled 10 round fight last night. Fitzpatrick, who had run up a long string of kayoes, took the full count on one knee. He was not out but went down from jarring rights to the chin and a left and right to the body. Marshall had scored a knockdown earlier in the round and Fitzpatrick came up groggy after a nine count.
