Notes
- Nathan Cleverly 21-0 (10 KOs) vs. Aleksy Kuziemski 21-2 (5 KOs)
- Originally, Tony Bellew took the fight on three-days notice after Cleverly's set opponent Juergen Braehmer pulled out alleging a cut suffered in training. [1]. Bellew, however, was ruled out of the fight as well when he failed to make the check-in weight. With that, Kuziemski became Cleverly's third opponent. [2]
Bout Summary
Cleverly had already bloodied Kuziemski's nose when a cut opened up above the challenger's left eye from what seemed to be a right hand. When referee Mark Nelson took a look at it, he immediately waved the fight off without consulting the ringside doctor. [3]
