Luciano Tunes Up For Don Lee Bout!

Rocky Luciano, rugged Harrisburg. Pa, middleweight boxer, engaged in a fine tune up match for his Fresno fight next Tuesday with Don Lee by thumping Berry Wright in a 10 round scrap In Ocean Park Monday night. Luciano won easily and looked "very good" in so doing, his manager, George Parnassus, veteran Los Angeles fight manager, reported to the Fresno Boxing Club.

Luciano is continuing workouts in Los Angeles this week and will arrive Monday for the local fight.

The Pennsylvania Italian appeared in Fresno three times a year ago after leaving the army. He boxed Sheik Rangel three times and all were close, torrid scraps. He gained a draw, dropped a disputed decision in the second encounter and lost in a third meeting.

Luciano strictly is a ready, open style mixer. Lee employs a similar style.
