Pete Sanstol & Larsen: circa 1934
Sigurd Larsen debuted as a flyweight in Oslo 1928. He was National Champion in that division 1929, and won the Featherweight title in 1931 and Bantamweight title in 1934. He fought four times on the Norwegian National team--having wins against Denmark (1934) and Sweden (1931). He lost both his fights against Ireland in 1934 (Oslo first, Dublin a few days later). He represented Norway in the European Championships at Budapest April 1934, losing his preliminary fight on points to the Pole Rogalski. Larsen retired in 1936, after beating the Norwegian-Jewish boxer Leo Leventhal.
