  • Emigrated to the United States in 1880 and became a naturalized citizen in Feb. 1896 at Mare Island, CA.
  • Owned a bar in New York City and ran Sharkey's A.C. for a time. Owned a string of racehorses and was a regular patron of race tracks on both coasts. Lost almost everything in the Crash of 1929.
