Bobby Eber 117 lbs beat Vic Foley 118 lbs by PTS in round 10 of 10
- Date: 1925-12-11
- Location: Coliseum, Toronto, Ontario, Canada
- Referee: Alex Sinclair
- Canadian Bantamweight Title (5th defense of Foley)
Notes
- Foley's manager, Jack Allan, was fined $200 by the Ontario Athletic Commission and Foley was prohibited from boxing Eber for four months because Allan initially refused to let Foley enter the ring unless Lou E. Marsh refereed the fight (as apparently promised by promoter Morrissey).
- Only the Commission had authority to appoint a referee. Morrissey was fined $50 and ordered to pay Ebber his full purse, which included $500 held back as a deposit for a return match. Marsh, of The Toronto Star's sporting staff, was a well-known hockey and boxing referee at the time.
